Clean and Comfortable

I chose the hotel due to the location being only 25km from where my business meeting was located. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and had great internet access. I checked in late (9pm) and left early, but enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was super and people all very nice.

Gasthof Oberwirt, Obing

A much bigger hotel than it looks from the front, it was very clean and comfortable with good facilities including ample parking and free wifi. Like all German hotels it lacks tea/coffee making facilities in the room so best to take a small travel kettle with you. Decor ranges from traditional Bavarian wood carving to more modern and a little quirky (such as the completed and mounted jigsaw puzzles on the walls of some corridors and stairwells) but is very well maintained. Breakfasts were excellent! Obing itself is a quiet little town which I chose as it's midway between Munich and Salzburg. It's also very handy for Chiemsee and a visit to the Herrenchiemsee palace on the island of Herreninsel. The hotel has it's own access to the small lake of Obingsee.

Uriges, traditionelles Hotel in Chiemsee Nähe

Frühstücksbüffet toll und sehr vielfältig! Angebot im Restaurant etwas teuer, aber schmeckt sehr gut. Zimmer sehr sauber, allerdings ist das Bad schon in die Jahre gekommen ... Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ideal.

Uriges bayrisches Hotel am See

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer war o.k. Der Service dürfte etwas freundlicher sein. Das Hotel war zum Teil renoviert. Einiges muss noch nachgebessert werden. In der Gaststube/ Frühstücksraum waren die Sitzauflagen völlig abgenutzt. Geht gar nicht! Das Essen war sehr gut.
