We'll surely come back

We stayed for the third Advent weekend in the family room (sleeps 4). The interiour is a little old-fashioned but all was very clean and nicely done up. The service was excellent, staff and owners are very friendly, flexible, caring and helpful. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of cold food and one hot dish that changed daily. Good variety of fruit, juices and hot drinks.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel not much to do in the village but the food at the restaurant was good and the service was perfect - our stay was due to going gravel biking in the national park Harz

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our main decision to book here was based on the fact it stated there was a swimming pool before we booked. On arrival once they found our reservation we were notified that no swimming pool actually exists apart from in a next town somewhere. Very disappointing. Blame was put on Hotels.com by staff. Saying every time they tried to contact them it would take 20 minutes of their time to try and get through. Personally i think they need to get this updated asap. We travelled over 5 and a half hours to get to this hotel for its leisure facilities. They had none and in middle of nowhere so nothing to do in the area. Thankfully we travelled out each day to other towns but would not stay again. We were also told our room would be cleaned. In fact the towels were still wet from previous use and the sheets looked like they had been refolded and not replaced. We had a meal in the restaurant on the first night. Kebab off the specials board. Not impressed with what we received for what we paid. Barely any meat on a baguette with white sauce all over it.

Frühstück war wirklich super. Das Zimmer auch. Das Badezimmer kriegt eine Stern abgezogen, es hat sehr stark gerochen. Die Tür musste immer zu bleiben. Das Essen im Restaurant war echter mau.

Vores bookning var på et større værelse for to voksne og to teenagere. Men da vi ankom var det et værelse til 3. Der blev redt op mens vi kom ind på værelset. Udsigten vi havde bestilt levede ikke op til vores forventninger. Vi havde skrevet til stedet inden vi ankom at vores søn havde fødselsdag den første morgen om de måske kunne sætte noget på bordet om morgenen eller noget. Det gentog også da vi ankom og det blev skrevet ned - men intet skete. Aftensmaden på hotellets restaurant var ok, men virkede ikke hjemmelavet. Om morgenen fandt vi mug på brødet i buffen og da vi sagde det til manden i køkkenet tog han i mod og sagde “det var ikke så godt”. Desværre ikke en god oplevelse for os.

Die Unterkunft ist schön, das Personal sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend. Wir waren mit kleinen Hund da und auch er wurde liebevoll behandelt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Udendørs pool ej ok

Der står der er adgang til udendørs pool i nærheden. Det er der slet slet ikke, så det må i ikke skrive. Jeg valgte det hotel kun pga pool er tilgængelig uden for. Så endelugt syntes jeg, at jeg skulle have nogle sf mine penge tilbage eller et nyt ophold. Plejer aldrig at klage.
