The staff here is so helpful and friendly. Gave us directions, got taxis, made reservations, gave suggestions for where to go, always with a smile. Full service for sure. Rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Located on a quiet street walking distance to the center.

Lovely

Beautiful place off the beaten trail a bit (but not completely out of the tourist zone) in a quiet neighborhood. The property is lux and lovely. The breakfasts were tasty and the staff was wonderful.

The personal attention they paid to each guest is top notch. The staff took care of our every need. Breakfast, dinner and cocktails were very good. The Jaguar house felt like home. Comfortable and spacious.

What's not to like? The hotel is a gorgeous oasis within easy walking distance of Oaxaca's principal sites but far enough away from the action to be peaceful and restful. The rooms, garden and common areas are stylish and comfortable, the breakfasts are amazing and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and solicitous. We loved our stay and hope to be able to return to this lovely hotel and magical city.

Very nice property about 10 minutes walk from the Santo Domingo church. Our room was huge with 2 sofas and an outside area with 2 lounge chairs. It was good for us as we wanted to avoid the noise of downtown. The walk was fine except for one last quiet block at night, although we always felt very safe.

This property was beautiful. We enjoyed the service provided by the food and bar staff. Breakfast was a treat, and evening service was very attentive. The room was clean and everything worked well. One very unfortunate part of the visit was the fraudulent use of a credit card that was only provided to this hotel. Upon check-in, I noted that the property scanned the credit card (both sides). 24 hours later, a fraudulent charge was attempted, and my bank blocked this attempt. Despite all the positives about this hotel, due to this event, it's not likely I could recommend it to others.

We had such a great time here during our four-night stay! Things started off a little funny when we arrived late and the night staff wasn’t sure which room we were in—it added a bit of humor to the trip—but everything smoothed out quickly. The room was huge, more like a one-bedroom suite, and it overlooked the beautifully decorated garden, which we absolutely loved. It was such a peaceful and relaxing view to wake up to every morning. The included breakfast was a nice touch—there was a small buffet with fruits, yogurt, pastries, coffee, and tea, plus a menu where you could order dishes like huevos rancheros. It was a perfect way to start the day! The service was fantastic throughout our stay—big thanks to the staff. Everything felt really smooth and well taken care of. Plus, the location is excellent, right at the end of El Calejón Avenue, making it super easy to get into downtown and the touristy spots. Overall, a quiet, comfortable, and well-located hotel with great service. Highly recommend it!

The staff service was EXCELLENT; always happily willing to help in any way. The rooms were GREAT; spacious, super clean, functional with everything you need, including a little balcony with a hammock (Junior Studio room). Also, the fact that the hotel includes parking (limited spaces), was very helpful, since streets are narrow and didn't feel good about parking our rental car there. Not all hotels offer this. The area around the property felt safe, and had many dining options within walking distance. I would definitely stay in this hotel again! P.S. The only tiny wrinkle was, that there is an event venue a few doors down. The Saturday night we stayed there, music from that venue was very loud. We always travel with a (sleep) sound machine and earplugs, so that helped =)
