"The room (11) was a bit small. but mostly clean. the bed was comfy. The breakfast was good and the meals in the evening were good."

"There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."

"Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. "The property was very run down . The facilities were badly looked after, if not non existent. The food was very average. The drinks were extremely overpriced. The hotel was much too expensive for what was on offer. We were expecting a spa hotel, and it definitely wasn’t. Very disappointed."
