It was close to Bosworth visiting center, it was a lovely big room, TV could be bigger screen and bed need sorting out otherwise had a wonderful time there, food excellent
Great little stay for an overnight stay not too far from Leicester. Reasonable price, great bedroom with everything needed (a bigger TV would have been nice).
Great food at breakfast and waitress was friendly and helpful.
We had a lovely stay, inside and outside the hotel had great areas to sit and staff were really helpful, friendly and polite. The surrounding area was beautiful with plenty of walks and places of interest to visit
Exceptional staff, lovely facilities and just a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast choice was excellent and we heard other guests remarking on how good their evening meal had been. We have re-booked already.
Very cozy hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was top notch! The downside was the indoor temperature. It was very cold in the main building and the room. WiFi difficult to access
Went to family lunch, organised by our cousins. They catered for about 40 of us. Food came out hot, and was delicious. Our room was comfortable and clean with plenty of teabags and coffee sachets. We didn't book breakfast but decided to stay for breakfast which was delicious and just enough. Although my other half said his coffee was cold but my tea was hot.
Wonderful!
The bedrooms were set away from the road and overlooked a field full of bluebells. There is a seating area in front of the rooms, where you can have drinks or a meal or you could eat/drink at the hotel bar/restaurant.
The room had tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
All of the staff we met were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
W will definitely return.
Despite staying over summer it was during a few colder days, so unfortunately the room was cold -but there was no thermostat in the room and no hot water available for radiators despite being on fully. We could just about cope with this, but to add insult to injury there was no hot water for a shower!!!
The water that did come out basically dribbled out the shower head.
Whoever was in the room upstairs or next door sounded like elephants trampling around -so would request a room away from other occupied rooms if you have to stay here, otherwise you’ll be disturbed at any moment anyone in another room wants to move around.
Small thing for me as well was that there was no shaving socket in the bathroom.
Generally did not enjoy and would not stay again unfortunately.
Didn’t try the bar or restaurant for food which looked nice to be fair.
Staff seemed nice enough.
Really helpful staff, great dinner and breakfast in a relaxing and peaceful setting. The room was well equipped and in a great location to visit Bosworth battlefield.
Lovely venue & team was excellent. Rooms are spacious & comfortable, but a bit dated.

Nobody to greet me. Just a sign on the door to explain which room i had which was left unlocked. The room was really cold, due to the freezing wind blowing through the gap round the door. Heating came on at 7am but went off whilst i was showering at 8.15am which meant i had to vacate earlier than intended. Grubby shower trim and damp on ceiling.
Great small Boutique hotel, friendly professional staff! Lovely clean rooms with Elemis toiletries.
Amazing breakfast cooked to order. Great restaurant at hotel too. This is the place to stay in Christchurch!!
Needs a complete update. Reception was non-existent. Room was scruffy and cold. No info inside room, no fire instructions, no wifi password. There was a dangerous fire in the room. The breakfast room was freezing which made the food and drink instantly cold. So refused to pay for breakfast. The property is tired and the owners seem to have given up. Not recommended.

Our stay was nice and peaceful with acceptable rooms apart from the shower which was not adequate..couldnt wash my hair as I would have been stood there 30 minutes trying to get enough water to remove the shampoo...water pressure needs attention and new shower heads etc.
Our stay welcome/arrival, food and cleanliness were all fine. Bed was awful like sleeping on planks of wood. Then we were embarrassed at checkout they were insisting we hadn’t paid for room when we had even after showing our receipt they were trying to get us to pay again, drinks charged to our table that wasn’t ours. On checking our online banking for drinks we paid for at the bar some of the receipts were double the price of any drinks we had. Absolutely disgusted!
I booked 3 rooms for a work trip. on arrival i was allocated to the Greyhound building - room 18. Heating was very high (like a sauna) no way to regulate in the room as all valves broken. Shower was a trickle of cold water and neither pressure or heat could be regulated. as i was here 2 nights on the second day i was having to use my colleagues bathroom facilitates. Night 1 reported the heating and was told it was regulated by a ground floor room occupier. day 2 i reported the shower to the manager who said they would look at it. I heard no more.

Clean small room with 4 poster bed. Had a WiFi signal but Internet is not even fast enough to lead facebook. Netflix is out of the question. Shower pressure very low
