"Our room was very clean. We did not stay for breakfast but it did look delicious."

"We had booked this hotel after staying at the Hyatt Detroit Royal Oak. Wrong decision… the website showed a bar, the eatery restaurant, and a pool. We arrived in the evening and planned on just eating at the hotel. I asked about the bar at check-in, they said the bar is closed (no license), we asked about the restaurant, was told it’s only breakfast. The girls wanted to swim, well the pool was closed for maintenance. We were told last night that it was under new ownership so they were not able To have the bar or dinner, and that they were getting a new pool maintenance crew. The glasses in our room were dirty, and literally stuck to the shelf, only had 1 towel in the room, which makes you wonder how well the room was actually cleaned before us. The pull-out sofa sleeper had what appeared to be electrical tape holding the cushions together. We travel often for youth sports. This hotel was a big disappointment!"

"Some staff is kind others are not, management did not want to help with anything."

"Nothing is enforced, they smoke in the rooms and not just cigarettes (this is a non smoking bldg). A few of us have health issues affected by smoking. It’s noisy all tie, prep to not get more than few hrs of sleep. "

"Great staff, nice room, great location, easy parking. The hallways were VERY loud with lots of kids running around well into the night. At one point, there was a thump against my door so loud, it sounded like someone was trying to break it down. There was spilled candy all over the floor that stayed well into the next morning. Staff was great, other patrons were very friendly, there was simply no attempt made to limit noise after 10pm. "
