"Check in was fine, except the unexpected parking charge, which I was later told that this was because I had booked through a 3rd party. I pulled up my reservation and confirmed to the receptionist that it was advertised as Free Self Parking. Not communicated with me prior to arrival.
An opportunity for immediate resolution was missed. Mis-selling, unfair treatment on consumer rights. Opening themselves right up to complaints and other issues.
Room was musty, outdated and just felt like things had been chucked in there. Couldn't find a plug to charge my phone or do some work on my laptop.
I booked a twin, was given a single. I'm 6'4", I need the extra room to move around.
In the morning, no hot water...at all.
Saving graces, the breakfast buffet was exceptional, the receptionist who helped me out in the morning was brilliant.
Costs are similar to that of Premier Inn, but with nowhere near the quality.
I will not be staying here again and recommend you dont either."
