"We booked the hotel for our 13th wedding anniversary, 13yrs is lace. Really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, clean and surprisingly cool considering the heat we are having at the moment. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment. I would certainly use the hotel again. Just a short walk into the city centre."

"Hotel centrally located next to Nottingham Castle and only a few minutes walk to the main shopping area. Good restaurants and bars close by. The hotel was undergoing refurbishment when I visited but the hotel was still clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"The public areas, restaurant, bar and reception were nice, clean, and well maintained. Staff were friendly, very helpful and efficient. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. My only gripe with the hotel was our room. It was clean, and well equipped, but and this is probably due to the age of the building. Very small, only window overlooked a void in the hotel, so little natural light and you could see into other room across the void. And there was no fridge so our fruit didn't fare too well."
