"The breakfast was really good as was the lady that served us. The room was nice and big although in need of decorating with ripped off wallpaper and holes in the bathroom, plus the TV didn't work, which I presume the guy behind the bar knew as he didn't seem interested when we told him. All in all a good stay, worth what we paid."

"We booked about a year in advance as we wanted to be in the area for our son’s wedding the next day. We paid top price but didn’t get a top hotel! Our bath panel had been severely damaged by water and whilst the aircon cooling worked well it was like having a tractor in the room! Service in the restaurant was good however our main courses were really poor. We had a tough as old boots sirloin steak and I had the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had in a restaurant. "The hotel was very clean. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Never stayed at a Days Inn before but would certainly stay with them again. Although the hotel was on the m1 we didn’t hear any traffic noise. There was no restaurant at the hotel but services was next door"

"Overall the hotel was nice with a comfortable room and’s beds and great shower! We could have used a mini fridge but there were none. The lack of AC was a challenge as we stated in July and the temp was quite hotel at night, even with the windows open. No fans available either. The staff was very nice and kindly let is check out later which was really helpful."

"I keep telling myself it’s cheap and cheerful, and it is to some degree.. but it has a 4* sign as you drive in, and this just isn’t the case. Rooms are run down and have needed upgrading for years. The swimming pool has been “ under maintenance” on the 3 occasions I have stayed over the years, so I just question whether it is ever open. The carpets needed hoovering in the hallways and our room. Executive Rooms 367 & 369: spotlessly clean and comfortable - good bed and choice of pillows but room a bit faded and dated - needs a bigger TV as distance from bed is too far for comfortable viewing. Lift out of action - not helpful - Best Western need to sort this pronto Spa & Pool: closed for refurb - needs sorting. Breakfast and Bar meals....good."

"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....
