"The hotel was excellent. It was very central 4 minutes max away from the main station and only 10 minutes from the opera house. The staff were friendly. The rooms were quiet as well and didn't hear much noise. The surrounding area feels perfectly safe. There weren't too many ammenities in the room itself but that wasn't a big deal. "

"Superbly located by the central station & waterfront & easy to get to. The staff were all so professional & helpful. The room had a fantastic view of the fjord which was an added bonus. To top it all the breakfast is very comprehensive & provides a great start to the day."

"More like a hostel than a hotel. It was new and clean but big issue was security. Teen guys hanging about in lobby, 24/7 cafe no longer in operation so no security. I had young guy so drugged up he could hardly stand push his way into lift which was quite scary. Fortunately manager was with me and said he would throw him out. Not safe for ordinary tourists in my view. No decent restaurants or breakfast places nearby."

"It is easy to locate from the airport via flybuss, get off at Hasle and a 10 minute walk. Breakfast lovely and lounge. Accessible to transport. Staff are good, only thing is a safe would have been great to put passports etc in."

"If you are not expecting the Ritz but want affordable, clean and comfortable accommodation this fits the bill. Right in the heart of the city, with two excellent restaurants attached, it suited us perfectly. The staff were helpful (particularly when the automated check-in wanted to charge us again - our only grumble!). Comfort, not luxury, and not too many frills but absolutely adequate, and we would certainly return."
