"We had room 4 and the beach was beautiful but the room was soooo DIRTY! Whoever mopped the floors left dirt swirls on the floor, the sheets had stains, it was probably the dirtiest room I have ever been in! Plus the furniture and walls were gross! I didnt even sleep under the covers. YUCK!"

"Had a great weekend! Nice quiet and well located condo. Plenty of room and privacy. The only thing that we would have liked better would have been warmer water. The shower temperature never raised above luke warm and on a cold weekend a hotter shower would have been nice."

"It was a good value, the property was large and a good value. They have a strange rule that you can’t use the pool unless you book directly. There’s lot of mosquitoes and other wild life in the area. I did find it a little strange there was no front desk for check in but the locks to our room worked and we had no issues during our stay."

"Great location and not far from anything!! Only bad thing was that we had a 4th floor room but the elevator only went to the 3rd floor. Good thing though was that our room was right at the top of the stairway we had to use to get there. Great view from the room too!!! Definitely going to be staying there again."

"I stayed at this property 3 years ago and it had great views but that was a out it. This time around I booked it for a business gathering and was so pleasantly surprised to find a huge upgrade in everything from the cleanliness of the rooms to the fact that they now serve an actual breakfastwith hot and cold selections. The lakeside views remain as beautiful as ever and the staff is extremely efficient . Will definitely be back again and again!"

"This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! The breakfast is amazing, with many hot options, fresh fruit, bread, muffins, and more. The water park is wonderful, and there are plenty of additional activities for kids to enjoy besides the water park. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is well-maintained and clean. The only areas for improvement are the fitness center, as there are no weights, bars, or weight machines, and the parking fee, which is quite expensive. In my opinion, it doesn’t make sense to charge guests for parking when they are already paying to stay at the hotel."

"The room and property were super clean and you could tell was well taken care of. The hotel has a room off the beach where you can order food at night and get the free breakfast in the morning both were delicious and very much enjoyable. The private beach was nice but the water was super rocky making it hard to get in and swim but it was super nice. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!"

"The 5 stars are all about the location. The perfect spot to see Traverse City. There are a few negatives, the main elevator does not work so all guests must use the service elevator which is worn and the wait can seem like several minutes. The top floor restaurant has a beautiful view but because the main elevator is broken you have to either take the service elevator which opens into this old dirty kitchen area or the stairs which for a couple approaching 70 can be daunting. BUT as said, the location and friendly staff out trumped the poor perception of the elevator situation just be advised. Also the restaurant staff and offerings were off but with the location there are many other options."

"Upon arrival, staff arranged for luggage sent to wrong hotel from ferry with no fuss. Staff explained about hotel and gave pointers on the local area. Breakfast each morning was fresh and appropriate for the day (the coffee was especially good). Balcony was clean and very well maintained. Throughout the stay, can't say enough about entire staff and their helpfulness. Special mention of Sally and person who went and retrieved luggage from another hotel!"
