"I booked Ataköşk Hotel through Expedia based on the beautiful photos and presentation shown online. Unfortunately, what we experienced was completely different from what was advertised. The sauna and Turkish bath were highlighted in the photos, but both were closed and unavailable. People make reservations based on these facilities, so this should be clearly mentioned instead of misleading guests. A hotel that calls itself a “5-star hotel” should understand the meaning of hospitality and...

"The hotel is right near a large walking street with many restaurants and cafes. There was some street noise, but it didn’t bother us at all. It was pretty quiet. I’d recommend staying here."

"We booked into the Boreas for our honeymoon. The staff were very helpful, and even upgraded us to a bigger room. However, this is where the trouble in paradise began. Even though we were upgraded, there were many things wrong. First of all the TV, although a smart TV has been deactivated due to “noise”. The showerhead was broken upon our arrival. Although an Internet came relatively swiftly, the next day to fix the issue. Even when we went to use the Jacuzzi, there was an awful egg smell coming...

"Not the best but thankfully I only stayed one night. AC has a loud squeaky sound to it and kept waking us up at night. Fridge isn’t clean with a but of mold in it. Water wouldn’t go down the drain during/ after shower so we basically showered in a puddle that took forever to go down the drain. Not to mention, I requested a baby crib because it says that they have that option free of charge but when I got to the room and asked for it they said that the people who asked for it before us broke it...

We only detracted one star because housekeeping never came to clean our room nor offer to change our towels for a 3-night stay. Not sure if we had to specifically request for them to come…"

"Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing mainly because of the housekeeping and service standards. We specifically requested a non-smoking room, but the room we were given smelled like a smoking room, which was not what we had asked for. Upon check-in, we also noticed that the coffee cups had not been cleaned from the previous guest, and one of them had clearly been used as an ashtray. That was a very unpleasant first impression.
