The beautifully restored heritage buildings, comfortable accommodations, and warm Island hospitality made for a wonderful stay and great choice for my birthday trip! The location is perfect for exploring downtown Charlottetown on foot, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast and afternoon treats were a lovely touch. "First of all, check-in info said 2 pm... no one is there on site to take care of this.. We sat outside for almost 30 mins, ringing bell occasionally. Finally called the phone # I had and after several tries got a real person...probably the manager.. who tried to be very accommodating, but at this point nothing was going to help. I was told a message had been sent to my 'phone' that morning spelling out access, etc... but the number I had given Expedia was my home phone #, not a cell...
