First there were no chargers for electric vehicles. We drive a Tesla. Second there were two cocstant noises. One was the bar fridge we unplugged. The other came from the water systen which went away upon flushing the toilet but came back soon after. And the room was cold when we arrived. The heat was completely off.

The place was disgustingly dirty and smelt, when we arrived in the parking lot a quick look at the building showed nearly every room had curtains that were not attached and hanging all over the place. The lobby was filthy and had a old dirty small, I asked the receptionist to show us the room, it was so disgusting old worn out furniture the curtains were not even hooked up to the rod they looked ancient. The carpet smelt and was so dirty it looked like it hadn’t been clean forever. We decided NOT TO STAY THERE. They would not allow us to cancel even though I was within the 4:30 pm checking time which I had to pay extra for. I tried to contact Expedia directly but was unsuccessful in doing so, by the time I tried to canel it didn’t was past my check in time. l lost the money. Which upset me, so I’m taking to social meeting and word of mouth to let people know that that TRAVELODGE Wyndham should be condemned and that I was very disappointed with Expedia for even having that dump recommended on their site.

The room and bed were very comfortable. I wanted to have a bath and there was no plug for the bathtub which was slightly disappointing. One thing I noticed is that the hot water is REALLY hot-I burned my hand when I was adjusting the temperature for the shower-wasn't expecting it to be that hot. The hotel was quiet but I could hear the guests in the next room. I was wondering why they would put someone in the room directly beside mine when the hotel had barely any people there-the parking lot was empty except for few vehicles. The gentleman at reception could have been a bit nicer-he wasn't rude but not overly friendly. Overall my stay was good and the rate was very reasonable. That's one of the reasons that I chose that hotel. I knew that the Travelodge was a decent hotel and the rate was far better than most of the hotels in North Bay for that date.
