I would like to point out how helpful stuff was and accommodating. The hotel is a little bit outdated and you will see things that are old but because of people that work there and trying to make your stay wonderful I would give this hotel four stars.

Decent hotel. Rooms are clean, staff is very helpful. Breakfast was mediocre, but nice to save a few dollars on eating out. The towels in the room are ver small and not absorbent, but overall for the price, it’s not a bad stay.

The staff were reasonably friendly. The property was a little aged as I expected when I booked. Was only looking for a spot to sleep for the night. The property is reasonably clean. When I got to the room all I was interested in doing was going to sleep. Set the heat to an appropriate level as they always turn it down which is expected and responsible. Woke up freezing in the middle of the night. The heater still appeared to be working but was obviously not working. The bed was not very comfortable and seemed that the mattress should have been tossed a few years ago. The bedding was very thin and only suitable for higher room temperatures. Tried doubling up the bedding to get some warmth. Helped but was still cold. Finally turned the hair dryer in the bathroom on and set the shower to hot and left it running. That finally took the chill off the room and I got a few hours sleep before leaving later than I had wanted. When I checked out the staff acted sympathetic but didn’t offer any discount or compensation. In my opinion it should have been a full refund offer.

While the room clean this ageing establishment could use a facelift. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They could use new towels and bed linen. Breakfast was the usual that you get most everywhere but good. The exterior could use some sprucing up, weeding and maybe some friendly flowers to attract visitors. I would stay there again as it offered a good walking road for me and my dogs. With some simple elbow grease this hotel could bring in more people.

The room was in the basement for starters. The room was small and the first thing that I noticed was the basement window. The curtains were like rubber, one was about 10 inches longer than the other, and they looked like they were taken from the garbage. Dirty and stained and they wouldn't close. I had to get paper clips from the front desk to use to close them. This made me very suspect of the remainder of the room. The bed was clean as was the bathroom except the tub had a residue on it like maybe from Comet?? I slept very poorly and though the tub was questionable I still took a shower. I couldn't wait to leave. I was extremely disappointed because this is a Ramada Hotel that looked more like a pay by the hour. I'm giving it a 2 only because the bed was clean.

Room was not ready when we checked in, even one hour past check-in time, and at least one other guest had the same issue. The room had a bare minimum of towels, the bathroom was very small, and the bathtub had no grab bars or even anywhere to hang a wash cloth. The deadbolt on the door did not work. Selecting a TV station was overly complicated until we figured out the remotes had to be pointing almost point-blank at the sensor in order to work. Breakfast was good, but food was running out within an hour of closing time. On the plus side though, the beds were comfortable, the room was exceptionally quiet, and we got a good night's sleep
