"A Lovely cottage with plenty of space. Very nice and clean, highly recommended. A little tricky to find in the dark so could possibly do with larger signage. "

"The hotel was functional, all the basics were there, not luxuriously glamourous, but I don't want that. It was all clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, but the self-service area was too small for such crowds of people, especially for wheelchair users who were having difficulty to manoeuvre in the narrow space. I arrived at 1.00am, late due to train holdups, and would have liked something to eat, but there were no snacks available. I enjoyed my stay, and would stay again."

"A lovely property with tasteful decor. All the staff are very pleasant. Palm Court restaurant was really nice, and the gym and swim facilities were good. The Sunday carvery is excellent and complimentary products in the room a nice touch. Not a lot of seating in the bar if wanting drinks only, most of it is for eating. Similarly, car parking is at a premium with a wedding on. Changing rooms are quite small, and could do with a spin machine for drying trunks (many have these now)."

"Got an accessible room I did not request. Not a good bathroom. Room was too hot but cannot change the settings. Altogether a dour dim room with poor lighting. Not worth the money."

"Overall a nice hotel highlighted by Bri on reception and many other helpful and friendly staff. Their was no TV remote (should have been checked I think by house staff) however the staff did all they could to find another and sort the problem. Our family room had lots of space and everything was clean. Breakfaat was good as were the facilities of pool, sauna, jacuzzi. "Easy check in food choice good and quiet rooms perfect"

"The bed was very uncomfortable!!! It dipped in the middle so it was quite difficult to lie flat. The balcony only had one seat on it but, as we couldn’t get the door open anyway, that wasn’t a problem. I didn’t take a shower cap with me as I expected the hotel to provide a selection of toiletries. It didn’t. The shower head was a bit loose and out of my reach and, at one point, it was actually pointing at the wall with most of the water running down the wall. We definitely would not return and...

"Pretty much has everything you need for a short stay. Clean, neat and tidy plus the staff are super nice and helpful also in a great location at a great price."

"When I turned on to the drive I was struck by the stunning tudor style building and grounds. I received a warm welcome from the friendly staff when I checked in, and clear directions on how to get to my room. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The decor was a little dated, but you could argue inkeeping for the period of the property. The grounds are stunning."
