"The location was easy to find using satnav and the access is very easy. There is ample parking in a quiet location. An unusual feature is that all rhe rooms are purpose built modern units detached from the much older public house part which also houses the restaurant. There is also a beer garden area with some shade. The benefit of this layout is that there are no staircases or lifts to navigate to get to your room. My room was exceptionally large, and my first impression was how cool it felt...

"There’s a strange way of getting to some of the rooms where you have to go downstairs before eventually climbing back up. The hotel itself is very well maintained although I’d wonder if the golf course sometimes takes a little of the priority."

"I came back and am booked to come back again! Feel really welcome: my dog was immediately drawn in by Bella, the new addition to the Griffin household. It's the atmosphere here, the good quality food, the Battle of Britain ale, good dog-walking nearby, then team running the place, their location in the middle of Norfolk - great breakfast (thanks Charlotte), cooked to order. Rather than list superlatives, I should just recommend that you go and try them out - very good value for money, dog...

"The hotel is in an excellent position, just off a main road, but on a quiet lane. 15 mins walk in to town. Rooms are modern with aircon, tea, coffee etc. What really makes the hotel excellent is the staff, from the cleaners, bar staff, receptionist, they were so genuinely helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay, thank you."

"No air conditioning, staff wasn’t knowledgeable about local restaurants, 10 lb charge for early check in, another person that was staying there ate dinner at about 5:00 pm and he left his silverware and a mess on the table and no staff person cleaned it up till the following morning. I wouldn’t stay there again"

"I cannot leave more than 2 stars because there is no on-site coin laundry machine, and none in walking distance. Staff was excellent; my room didn't have a mini-fridge, but they were willing to let me put food into their private one in staff break room. "I only booked this Hotel because of the advertised air conditioning during what is an exceptionally hot period. I was put in a room on the top floor in which the air conditioning was completely ineffective blowing out warm air. The Hotel is very tired (including the air conditioning system). Very expensive for what it is."

I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable.
