"Parking is very easy and so was check in. The Townhouse although in a central location was quiet. The hotel was clean, and staff very friendly, but would benefit from some updating. The shower in room 9 lost pressure after a few minutes. I asked Expedia to find out if breakfast was available but they could not get an answer and just referred me to the description which says it is. However when we checked in we were told it is not, there is cafe nearby that does it and opens early but the advert...

"Great hotel, check in was easy. The gym was great, pool was busy! Dinner was nice (Seabass), I chose to eat in the bar. Very peaceful location, I'd definately stay there again if I was ever in the area. "

Poor outside area. Altogether, main hotel was irrelevant. This was a low standard at an exorbitant price for what was provided. Not recommended. "

"Had previously read the reviews for the hotel and decided to give it a go. On arrival friendly welcoming. Got to room, smelt a bit of smoke. TV the size of a small PC monitor. Outside light on all night lighting up the room even with curtains closed. In the morning no heating until 0645. Tried to have a hot shower, no hot water despite running water for 5 minutes. "

"Friendly reception staff, quick easy check in. Single en suite room suited my needs for attending a gig at the LCR 2 mins walk away. Shared kitchen with each room having a cupboard and fridge space allocated. Complimentary tea & coffee in the kitchen. Easy to get to by public transport. I took the train to Norwich and got the number 25 bus to the university (hotel is 3 mins walk from the stop) and back the next day to the station."

"One bath towel 2 adults? Blocked sink? Charged 15 pounds to check in an hour early when we booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. If you need to stay in this area it has a restaurant on site , it’s ok but not geat"

"The spa was inviting and the staff very good. Made to feel comfortable and the treatment was great. The pool area was okay and while we did enjoy it we just feel it lacked an intimate atmosphere as was a gym club. Definitely could have done with either drinks service for guests or a bar. However we enjoyed our stay and would go again "

"The staff were all great, very helpful and polite. The room was large and clean but a bit soul less. The bathroom was very large with lovely shower but again bare. Nothing to make you feel special two tiny bottles for the shower and one bar of soap but no soap dish! Nothing at all to make it feel homely! The worse bit was the bed it definitely needed a new mattress as we both kept rolling into the middle, ver disturbed night!! "
