Krungsri River Hotel

"I loved getting up and going to the lush breakfast available, it had everything I could want. The room was clean, comfortable, and made up daily. I also liked that it was right on the river for nice interesting views. One of the amenities I enjoyed most was the pool area that had a work out gym with saunas. What a great way to destress from the rigors of travel. The Hotel called for a taxi for me that ended up being a priceless benefit. The driver was knowledgeable about the local area and got me around to more things in a day than I could have seen in a week on my own. I hope you can get aa wonderful a driver and a guide as I lucked into. I will definitely stay here again if I return."

"The Syama is a characterful building on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Lovely teak flooring with spacious well appointed rooms. With great views across the river to one of the ancient temples. The staff are all incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful. They arranged a Tuk Tuk for us to use for the day to see all of the main sites. He was so good and cheap that we booked him for a second day. There are plenty of very good restaurants nearby for exceptional local dishes. Can’t recommend this residence enough for a stay In Ayutthaya"

"This is a fantastic hotel. Highly recommended. I stay in the Suite with my wife and it was beautiful and very romantic. You can walk right out the door and into a market place and the Central food court and mall. The staff were friendly and courteous and the view from the room was amazing. The tub in the room was so nice, and the pool was lovely though we didn't use it. The room service food selection is very limited but that doesn't matter when you can walk out the door into a market. Its a little pricey for Thailand standards but for foriegners it's still very cheap and well worth it. I plan to stay there again!"

"Silp-Pa Phra is an interesting place alright. First you arrive you think it’s an art gallery but they also have hotel rooms too. The hotel rooms have that art flair too, the room, the bathroom and shower are set out pretty good too. The outside area is very nice and has the tranquility of rural Thailand. I’ve noticed the staff are friendly and could not have been more helpful. If you come to Ayuttaya and need accommodation, I’d recommend Silp-Pa Phra to anyone."
