"Hotel is a little dated but room and bathroom were very clean. Fan was provided so temperature was comfortable. Room spacious and will be great if you have dogs. Bed relatively comfortable. Minor gripe is that the shower gel was very watered down so no use really. Other than that it’s a good budget option for this location and I would definitely stay there again."

"Excellent B&B in a great setting with super friendly and professional staff. The room was very well looked after, it was in pristine condition and had all of the amenities we needed. Convenient parking right outside, and the best breakfast I've ever had at a B&B - A selection of cereals, fruit and yogurt, freshly baked pastry, juices, tea and coffee and a delicious cooked option. Amazing value, highly impressed and we will definitely return if we're in the area again!"

The room was nice and big although in need of decorating with ripped off wallpaper and holes in the bathroom, plus the TV didn't work, which I presume the guy behind the bar knew as he didn't seem interested when we told him. "The Belfry trades heavily on its famous name, but the experience doesn’t justify the premium price. My room was clean but very dated, with no air conditioning and only a noisy fan that made sleeping difficult even before the real issue started. The biggest disappointment was the late-night noise. Guests drinking on the terraces created a constant level of shouting and disturbance that was completely at odds with what you’d expect from a luxury golf resort. I booked expecting a peaceful night...
