The room was perfect, and we adored being able to go on all the nearby walks, etc. The bed was wonderful, but it would have been nice to have a couple of spare pillows in the (empty!) chest in the room for additional comfort. But I cannot complain - it was fantastic as is. The food was great, but I feel there could be a couple of tweaks. For eg. my husband ordered the bakewell tart, and it arrived cold. The farmhouse always felt warm and our room was very comfortable and well equipped . We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the ensuite . "

"Beautiful hotel, parking is available but limited with very tight spaces and on a hill so be aware if you have a larger vehicle. Spa was lovely, staff were amazing, room was spacious. We didn't pay for a sea view, so our view was out onto a very run down and filthy roof top which made it feel more like being in the middle of a deprived city area rather than beautiful seaside resort. It didn't affect our stay, but worth knowing if you're planning a romantic getaway. "
