"It was a beautiful mill house. The surrounding scenery was stunning. The staff were friendly. Walking distance to a nearby beach. 2 1/4 miles coastal walking to Tintagel. "

"We stayed in a lovely room above the pub overlooking the harbour. The room was spacious and we liked being right in the heart of the town. It can be noisy though with music from nearby pubs so expect that to go on until 11ish. The staff are all very helpful and the pub itself is lovely. Parking is tricky, we were lucky to find a spot nearby but we did have to pay. "

"We stayed in a family room with our dog. There was a welcome pack for the dog including a toy, treats and poo bags. They also provided bowls, towel and a bed. (Saved us getting the dog bed out of the car) We still used our dogs bowl as she's a miniature. We had dinner in the bar I had mains cesear salad, which was amazing with anchovies in as well as being a really generous portions. "Spacious and comfortable rooms. Warm welcome at reception. Very good breakfast. "

"I wanted to check in fast and visit an important attraction before they closed. The reception lady indicated that by law she had to check us in right away and show us the room. I asked if I could leave my bags in the lobby and check in after and she said, "If I did that she could not grantee she could check us in." because she would be too busy. I was thinking that she had no choice in the matter to do so and if I had arrived at 8pm she would have to check me in if she liked it or not. ??"

"This was our second year here, due to the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the room, the quality of the food and the location. You can do as much or as little as you like using this as a base. We just love the ambience of the whole area. We did trips by car, train, boat, bus as well as feet. Would visit again. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable."
