"W checked in around 3 with an online booking that implied the waterpark passes were included. Upon check in we were told that it is not in fact included and was an additional fee. This was only the start of our issues. Throughout the few hours we’ve been here we have dealt with: nobody at the front desk or the manager Jared being in the side room or out at a table watching the game on the tv with a sign posted “be back briefly”. This sign was up for at least two hours that I noticed, but was only taken down when the lady for nights came in and took it down. Aside from this we also have a room that has a broken remote, a dirty bathroom, stuff on the walls of the room, no mattress covers just basic sheets, dirty floors, metal sticking out of the bottom of one of the beds that will cut somebody, a bathroom trashcan that has blood on the bottom of it and didn’t have any bags. Instead of getting a new bag or even getting it wiped out Jared just put trash bags at the bottom and said that was all he could do after putting a bag in it. The waterpark is disgusting and there should never be only one lifeguard on duty. Parents were life guards for kids who were not theirs, including us having to help another child in the water today because one lifeguard cannot handle the entire area when it’s busy. "There was no free breakfast. They over charge at their restaurant. It’s also under construction and they start at 8am-9am all the way til 6pm. Also $4 for a bottle of water. They charge $2.50 for a small cup of coffee that you get free in your room "

"Very easy, fast check in. Friendly staff. We had an early flight, needed the shuttle just after 4am. We waited less than 5 min for it to arrive after the staff notified the driver we needed to be picked up. The lobby is beautiful, wish we could of taken advantage of breakfast. Our room was clean. Will definitely stay here again in the future. "

"Eva at the front desk isn't absolute Angel to work with she accommodated us with everything she could and went above and beyond with suggestions. The shuttle driver Mike offered to pick up my partner from the airport and have me ride with him even though we didn't shuttle from there when we originally flew out. Lisa in the palms bar and grill was also very attentive and very pleasant. Michaela at the front desk was also very accommodating and pleasant. We met no unpleasant people during our stay the breakfast is amazing the pool is great the hotel itself is like being outside in Florida in the summer even though it was April in michigan. Would highly recommend. In fact we stayed an extra night even though we only live an hour and a half away."

"Our stay was excellent the staff presented themselves in a manner that was greater then any hotel staff we have witnessed. The made us feel comfortable, like we’re just as important as the next person, the young lady attending to the breakfast preparation was very friendly, didn’t have any problems with parking, our room was very clean the cleaning staff was great. They gave us towels with out having a attitude that OTHER hotel staff shows."
