We had a great time at the B & B. Joy and Rob were great hosts. Breakfast was delicious. Good conversation with the hosts. The place was comfortable and very quite. If looking for a place to hang out the wrap around porch is a great place to have a cup of coffee and enjoy the scenery.

Upon our very late arrival, the owners were there to greet us. Our room was neat and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was customized and delicious. Hosts were welcoming, kind, knowledgeable about the area, and accommodating. Perfect bed and breakfast to stay if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway or just a place to stop for the night.

A hidden gem in the woods!

Wonderful stay! Lovely large bedroom, king size bed with recliner and hot tub. The log house that was built by the owner is so amazing and the decor is the perfect touch! The detail they put into it reflects their craftsmanship! Relaxing in the main living room looking out to the forest of trees is such a visual splendor. The wraparound porch would be a delight in the summer, I’m sure! Waking up to sizzling bacon, eggs, toast and coffee made to order is a travelers dream😋 The only negative is that we have to leave after just 1 night! Thank you Snyder’s Knob for one of our best retreats!

I loved staying at Snyders Knob Bed and breakfast the breakfasts were delicious and the owners Rob and Joy treated me like family. The room and surroundings were so peaceful and calm. I loved walking on the mountains and looking at the different corn fields and surrounding farms. It was a wonderful stay there for ten days. The owners told me what attrvtions to see in and around the area. I stayed here at Snyders Knob BED AND Breakfast from August 1,2024 to August 11.2024 I will stay there again on my next trip to Newport Pennsylvania. Alisa Monteiro

Shane & Becky’s Overnight Adventure

We were invited to a wedding at the Millerstown Moose Lodge on 12/13/2024. We’ve never stayed at a bed & breakfast before, so we were not sure what to expect, but the experience was wonderful from check-in to check-out. Joy greeted us at the front door upon arrival. Our room was charming and cozy with a TV and mini fridge. We had a detached, private bathroom right outside our bedroom. Our room also had a sliding glass door that led to a beautiful wrap around porch. Too bad for us it wasn’t warmer weather. This morning we were served our made-to-order breakfast and were able to chat with Joy and her granddaughter, Shania. Ended our stay with a nice hot shower before making the trek home. Thanks for your hospitality, Joy! We really enjoyed ourselves.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at Snyder’s Knob as we were in the area doing genealogy research in Perry County. The hosts were awesome and the property was beautiful. It provided a great respite for our busy days. We’ll stay again as we continue our research.

Legendary

We needed a semi last minute spot to land in the middle of PA after a less than optimal experience at the Best Western the night before. We stumbled upon this bed and breakfast and couldn’t have been happier about it. Robert and Joy were extremely accommodating and the property itself was gorgeous. We will definitely go back next time we travel to that area.
