"Drunk male receptionist took ages to check us in , then given me a room I haven’t book . I have booked one family large room 145 - two green standing single beds and double bed room and I was given one double bed , one single and pull out of this bed to sleep on the floor type matrasse bed , when I questioned this he said that I was suppose to be told this when booked - nonsense I booked via this page with photos of the room - freestanding two single beds !!!"

"The staff was pretty pleasant when we arrived. The check-in was quick. I think the only issue that I really had is that one they don’t offer face towels. To wash your face. There was no refrigerator in the rooms and we had a special-needs child, nonverbal and we needed a refrigerator in the room. We had to utilize ice back to keep his food cold. It was a quick stay."

"We stayed here overnight as our flight was delayed and arrived near the midnight. There is a shuttle at Gatwick platform 9 (south terminal) that will take you to this hotel for £5. The check in was straight forward and easy. The room was super clean with comfortable bed and quiet. Highly recommend for any overnight stay and easy access to Gatwick."

"Pleasant country hotel. Welcoming staff. Clean comfortable room. Close to Gatwick. On flight path but no planes between 23.00 and 6.00. Slept well. Adequate parking available. Good value for money."

"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"Just there as a stop over whilst we attended a wedding locally but, not at the hotel itself. Very nice, clean and spacious rooms. We did bring our swimming gear but, didn't make it to the pool. We had received a message beforehand about times etc., but maybe something in the room would have helped us to organise ourselves. Breakfast nice, bar food good and staff really friendly. "Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."
