"My family and I booked as we were going to the field of dreams site. We wanted a hotel that was close. The check-in process was easy. The outside looks like you would imagine a hotel in a small town would. Upon arriving in her room. The smell of mildew and mold was overwhelming. The air was off and when I turned the air on it got worse. I have a daughter that is a heart transplant. She instantly started coughing. My husband came into the room with his first load of items from the car. He told me...

"I appreciated the warm chocolate chip cookies that were available when I checked in."

"This is the first Holiday Inn Express I’ve stayed at that I felt I went back in time to 30 years ago. This is so outdated I’m shocked that IHG puts their name on this property. Needed remodeled 20 years ago. The coffee looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Was so dirty I left without showering. I’ve been an IHG member for almost ten years and this is the first time I’ve ever seen this. So disappointed that I paid for this online otherwise I would have left."

"Room was great, staff friendly and helpful. This is where I stay every time I go to Dubuque."

Afterwards, when night management clocked in, again my room was assigned to another couple, that came in again while I was in my room. Not the best hotel experience I've had."

"Ok"

"Great location. Rooms a bit dated and need updating on basic stuff like heating/air, but beds were very comfortable. Staff is very helpful."

"This Hotel was in a central location. Brewery right across the street with grat food. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. We showed up 30 minutes after breakfast time and Terry made sure we still got fed. I noticed later in the day after we had left that I lost one of my AirPod in the bed. I called right away and the gentleman told me that he would leave a message with housekeeping. I am now back home, 1900 miles away. I...
