"Danu's homestay is the real experience. 5 star service with many smiles. If your looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience, this is it. Sigiriya is a beautiful little town and Lion Rock is a must do. Get up early to beat the crowds and heat. It opens at 7am. We hired a scooter but Charu the father will drive you if needed. The family are absolutely loving,kind and generous. Make sure you have dinner with them. One of the best meals I've had in Sri Lanka. Now for the suprise...

"We had a wonderful stay at The Hungry Lion! The rooms are very clean and spacious, as are the common areas. The location is perfect: only a short walk to all of the restaurants and shops. "Insgesamt eine schöne Unterkunft. Sehr nettes und hilfreiches Personal, die uns viele Tipps gegeben und Ausflüge + Fahrer organisiert haben. Manchmal aber auch fast ein bisschen aufdringlich mit den Sightseeing-Empfehlungen. Der Flughafentransfer hat super geklappt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und einfach eingerichtet. Der Pool war sauber und hat zum Schwimmen eingeladen."
