"Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. "We stayed at the Apple House for 2 nights and had the best stay. The hosts Daniell & Taquin are very friendly and helpful with everything. The breakfast was freshly prepared and also had fruits and cereal bar as well. We had to order breakfast a day before and our table number was our room number. The rooms had coffee/tea facilities, snacks and toiletries and were replaced everyday. We got takeaway for dinner and were provided with plates and cutlery and allowed to use microwave and eat in...
