Beautiful hotel. Smells brand new. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. The restaurant and bar were top notch. Delicious food (the pasta was so fresh) and one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. Our room was super spacious and well stocked with anything we could have wanted. The gym was also beautiful and had so many available workout options. If we are ever back in New Haven we would definitely choose The Blake.

This is a nice hotel conveniently close to campus. No breakfast offered, but there's a kitchenette which is very well appointed. The rooms are quiet and clean. Overall prefer this hotel to its main competitor The Study as rooms are nicer and it's on a side street vs a main drag.

We’ve stayed at the Blake at least three times, and the facility is always nicely kept up. It’s convenient to be able to walk to Yale as well as all the shops and restaurants that New Haven has to offer. Parking is hit or miss and the rooms can be noisy on the weekend.

Pros: The hotel as a whole is well styled. The staff is very welcoming and nice. Bathrobes are amazing. The rooms have a small electric range, mini fridge, dishwasher, and coffee maker, which make it heart if you’re staying for a longer period of time. Cons: Breakfast offered is coffee and prepackaged muffin or coffee cake. There is a restaurant in the hotel, however they do not serve breakfast. The restaurant was fully booked the night I stayed, which also meant no room service available during the evening/night. For the price of the rooms there should be a food service option available to guests to purchase.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and the valet is easy and they are super helpful even during busy times when they are getting many cars. Great gym, check restaurant hours - they seem to be open more on the weekends.
