"The rooms were clean but were starting to show signs of age. The bed would squeak and the mattress would sink in the middle. There was a fly in the room, which took forever to get it out. I thought the decor was nice. The concept is of Airbnb rooms but within a hotel. There’s no onsite front desk but there’s daily maintenance it seems. The living room lodge is cozy, the free cocoa/coffee was great, and the game room/pool was nice. Overall, it was a great value and would gladly return. "

"I booked this room to take my grandkids swimming. No idea that the pool was being worked on and closed. They wouldn’t cancel my reservation and neither would Expedia. Robbery. "

"During my recent stay at the Fairfield, I found the staff to be consistently friendly, professional, and courteous. However, the experience was significantly impacted by an ongoing issue with the hot water in my room. Throughout my stay, I was repeatedly without hot water, and several of my colleagues expressed that they were dealing with the same problem in their rooms as well. Although the staff assured us that maintenance would address the issue, it was never resolved. Having to take cold showers and then step out into winter weather made the stay extremely uncomfortable and ultimately unpleasant. Because this issue persisted despite multiple reports, I do not plan to book at this location in the future."

"Room and bathroom were great; bed / pillows so comfortable; love the robes. Breakfast had just the right amount of variety / selections. Elevator was not working but we were ok with stairs. It had been not working in our December visit either. "

"From the moment we checked in the staff was helpful and friendly. We ended up leaving an electronic device in our room and I immediately got a cal from the hotel manager, as the housekeeping staff had promptly brought it down when they were cleaning our room after our stay. I would highly recommend this location!"

"I never received a message from the hotel how to check in or enter the building as it was a self check in system. I called and their response was we sent you multiple texts to enter CC information, which I never did. Even on the phone I wasn’t receiving anything while standing outside in the cold. Not sure why this happened but it was unfortunate and I didn’t end up staying. Only until I was 30 minutes on my way home I got the message. They need to do a better follow up for guests so this doesn’t happen again. "
