"Leipzig Airport? It’s a 15 minute drive. However, a Taxi will cost you €40-50. Getting taxi’s from the hotel is difficult, as taxi’s don’t want to come out to Wiedemar. You can get a bus and a train but it’ll take an hour to get into Leipzig. The hotel was sparse in both amenities and service. When asking the receptionist to call a cab for me, was met with a reply of “We can’t do that”. With no further explanation. There is nothing (and I mean nothing) around there that is useful. No shops or restaurants within walking distance."

"Hotel cancelled 90 minutes before we were due to check-in, so we never actually went to the hotel. It looks really good from the pictures & Robert from the reception was really nice during our email correspondence. I hope to visit some time in the future."

"Great location and stunning town. The hotel inside is clean but already looks dated. Swimming pool was sadly out of action during my stay. The staff weren’t overly enthusiastic but helped where they could. Don’t expect amazing customer service. Rooms are very warm in hot weather as there is no air con, just a fan provided in the room. The Mattress was worn with a dip in the middle and the room was spacious but very basic and worn. Can’t complain for the price but don’t expect high end."

"Booked as a hotel on part of a longer road trip. Arrived and the Sauna was not available as we had not ‘called ahead’ in order for them to ‘turn it on’, this is not mentioned anywhere on the booking as needed. First room we were given was incorrect and second room was adequate at best."
