"The space was fantastic! It’s very much an extended cottage, and is warm and cozy! The host was very responsive, and went out to purchase a few additional amenities at our request. Very responsive host. One drawback is that there were a few bits that seemed to have been “missed” in terms of cleaning. There were a couple drawers filled with old packaging and garbage, kitchen items had a layer of grease covering them, downstairs bathroom had beard trimmings inside. I do, however, still recommend...

"Felt a bit miss-sold, a 2 bedroom apartment which is basically a 1 bedroom, and a bed in a hallway.
Hotel also didn’t give us the code, so we couldn’t get in, so spent an hour stood outside without a way of getting in. Fortunately some other guests arrived and let us in, or we’d have been out there all night….! "

"Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet."

"Clean room with a tea and coffee tray, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board. The beds were comfortable, although we found the mattresses a bit on the hard side, but that’s probably a matter of personal preference. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of both hot and continental options.
The only real issue was the soundproofing. We could hear every single step outside and every word from the room next to us."

"Parking wasnt great on 3 spaces for the property so had to park at the top of hill and carry luggage down.
Staff and room was lovely, room smelt fresh and was clean we was right next to main foor but could not hear much noise. Check in/out was quick and straight forward. Would recommend hotel. "

"We didn’t have hot water for the whole of our stay. We were told it would come back on after the first day and it did not. The next time they said it we wanted to shower we had to do it in another room, however they asked us to share this room key with other people which wasn’t what we thought when booking. "Friendly Staff, but room not fit for purpose, TV broken screen, shower pointless unless you want a cold shower, no pressure on warm/hot, restaurant had stopped serving when I arrived at 8:20pm, lights flickering, plug socket dubious and buzzing, room tired and dated, needs investment it rooms, I stay in around 40 different hotels annually and I can quite honestly say this was one of the worst rooms I’ve stayed in, and it takes a lot for me to complain, but it’s sub standard for sure. "
