Very good renovation of a classic hotel. I was very disappointed that there was NO parking available for guests. Will not be staying again. PS My steak in your lounge was incredible. I will come back for that.

Thank you for choosing the Hume Hotel and Spa, we completely understand the parking situation. Nelson is an old town and never has been known for parking. Rest assured there is a city parking facility right next door available.

Great old hotel, in a perfect location for exploring Nelson. They have done a great job of preserving/restoring the period feel while also providing modern amenities. One small complaint is that the fridge in our room (like many small fridges in hotels) was noisy.

Loved everything about the Hume on our Girls Trip!!! Our Rapunzel suite had two stunning views, the front desk staff was supurb, and the gluten free food options were delicious! The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming to us ladies as well. Can't wait to come back!

We needed to change our room to two separate rooms and the man at the front desk worked hard to do that. We were very pleased with the service, accommodations and food.

Lovely hotel located right next to downtown, in walking distance of shopping and fantastic restaurants. Had to park in the city parkade as there was no on-site parking. Beautifully maintained hotel rooms. Very helpful and fantastic staff both at the front desk and spa. Will definitely stay here again.
