We’re on a tour of the islands, so we get to compare and contrast the places we stay. This one - Faros Villa - is easily the best so far. It’s located next to a nature reserve with some of the most beautiful beaches in the country, all within relatively easy walking distance. It’s run by a family and they clearly care very much about the place: just about every detail, from sheets to lighting to decor to the beautiful gardens, everything seems cared for. Then there’s the food at the adjacent restaurant. We ate there all three nights and it was ALL delicious, most especially the homemade options (unless you’re a vegetarian, try the lamb and potatoes probably the tastiest thing I’ve tried yet). Anyway, don’t hesitate. Book the sea view rooms if you can: worth a little extra for the sunsets on the balcony.

Nous avons séjourné (2 parents et 2 jeunes filles) dans une suite familiale (2 chambres et 2 salles de bain + salon + espace évier/frigo + terrasse privative, le tout sur 40 mètres carrés environ, avec vue sur mer Le ménage a été quotidien L’accueil a été charmant (Nikos, le propriétaire, est venu nous chercher au port de Chora, et nous y a ramenés pour le départ) Le personnel (accueil, piscine, ménage, restaurant attenant) est souriant, disponible et professionnel La piscine est immense et permet de se rafraîchir après une journée de visite (une serviette piscine est fournie en début de séjour à chaque résident) Le restaurant est excellent et à prix tout à fait convenable (Mama Irina y est toujours présente!) Petite attention pour notre départ: une fiole de kitron, liqueur locale à base de citron

We were not met at airport as planned. There bus was broken down, yet they could have had a taxi waiting. Not a good first impression. The room is perfect. Everything you need is available and well thought out. The dining options are excellent. As other reviewers mentioned the best food! The pool is large and exceptional with bar service. Many beaches to explore. A rental car is easy with the help at the property. Please drive into the mountains. Spectacular highlights of our trip to Naxos! Best Island holiday

Faros villa was an extremely pleasant surprise. Naxos has a laid back island life and Faros villa exemplifies it. Its situated in an thinly populated corner of island though well connected and is very close to a nature reserve and some awesome family beaches. Faris is family run and they are a credit to Greek hospitality, very generous, honest and caring. Vila itself is spread out with a huge pool, garden and 8 rooms which are very nicely appointed. In the evening only noise you hear is cricket's and in daytime its birds. Food is exceptionally well cooked by ladies in kitchen led by Mama Eilene. Overall highly recommended!!

Boa localização junto a praias bonitas e sossegadas mesmo em Agosto. Tem um supermercado a 5 minutos de carro. Otroligt fint litet hotell

Detta hotell kan vi verkligen rekommendera. Det låg vackert och det var nära till stranden. Det var tyst på natten och sängarna var mk sköna. Servicen var super och vi har nog aldrig känns oss så välkomna på något annat hotell innan. Vi åt ganska ofta på hotellets restaurang som serverade utmärkt mat.

Extraordinary retreat with the BEST food

Faros was the highlight of our 2.5 weeks in Greece. The food is some of the best we've had anywhere in the world. The views are so unbelievable as to be... well... unbelievable. The pool is perfect for lounging or swimming - ideal temp, large, beautiful design. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Amazing breakfast. I won't reiterate what everyone else has said about the genuinely warm and generous family and staff running the place (all true). Faros was much more enjoyable than staying in Naxos town (Hora) - which we also did. More relaxing - a real vacation. Though there are many families with kids there are also couples - something for everyone. We are an interracial same gender couple and felt comfortable. One thing to note: it gets incredibly windy on Naxos. We didn't know this in advance so we planned to mostly veg out at the beach and pool. But only one of our four days was really calm enough to be truly enjoyable for a peaceful beach day. The windy days are cool for other stuff - hiking, watching kite surfers, etc. but not enjoyable for beach (sand blowing, etc) or pool. The best use of a windy day for us was renting a car and visiting some villages in the mountains (ask the staff for an itinerary and they'll tell you all the cool stuff to do). That was amazing. And of course... eating.

Beautiful family run villa. Nice rooms, great pool & delicious restaurant. The beaches are some of the best we have ever seen. Very quiet neighborhood. Drive to city center of Naxos is about 30 minutes I would suggest renting a car.

An incredible stay on an incredible island

In a nutshell - I would be back again and again. It's everything you wish for- good hospitality, dream location with untainted, beautiful beachess and accommodations that are the equivalent of 5 star resorts around the world. I didn't think we could spend the whole of our three day stay just on the resort and surrounding areas but we didn't need anything else. My husband and I walked around to the 6 or stunning beaches that you can walk to from Farros and ate all of our meals at the hotel restaurant cooked by the family that owns the villa and restaurant. You get everything you need at the restaurant - a burger and fresh cut fries for lunch to a gourmet rabbit dish for dinner. As for the villa - I could rave about the interior for days- spotless, BEAUTIFUL rooms. And the staff- I have nothing more to say than this is what Greek hospitality is all about.

Cet hotel et l'équipe qui le gere sont tout simplement un cocktail parfait pour ceux qui recherche un état d'esprit détentendu "comme à la maison", une attention à tout instant mais en grande discrétion et un service familiale mais professionnel. Il s'agit d'un "petit hotel" familial mais le résultat est extraordinaire. Peu d'hotel en Grèce, ou meme ailleurs permettent d'atteindre ce niveau de satisfaction et de bien être. Le couché du soleil depuis la piscine, ou se situe le petit bar, nous hantera ma femme et moi quelques mois encore... Allez y les yeux fermés (mais avec un voiture qui est indispensable)

Everything was really perfect. Nico is a perfect host, the time passed at Faros. The structure is really in a great position, the staff is always gentle and available for you, breakfast is fantastic, and it is really quiet outside. What else? They made us feel at home. Highly recommended.
