"We started at wonderful Hotel Baeren for two nights, and loved every second! We arrived a little late, and our key was left for us, super convenient to check in. Ample free parking right next to the hotel, close to everything and VERY quiet. The staff was so kind and welcoming. They had a coffee/tea station for us 24/7, with fruit, water and granola bars as well. The breakfast was also incredible. We would highly recommend this hotel. We have no idea why it is only classified as a 3 star, it...

Da niemand vor Ort war, haben wir insgesamt fast eine Stunde gebraucht um einzuchecken und ich musste 5 bis 6 mal bei der Service Hotline anrufen, was durch Roaming leider auch teuer war."

"Breakfast was included but rarely any choice. If something ran out, it wasn't topped up. Had a boiled egg once in 6 days! No air conditioning or fan in the room. It was a small room with no air circulation in 34° heat, it was terrible. The staff/owners couldn't speak English so I couldn't tell them the problems. I would definitely not go back here or recommend it to anyone. Worst stay in a long time."

"The main hotel building is pretty good, cozy, recently renovated, however the annex building is far from that - it has a vibe of 1980s apartment complex, also not the cleanest. Views are lovely, as well as the area around. The breakfast is pretty bad - choices are limited, quantity is such that everything runs out quickly and, generally, the restaurant is far from great, offering canteen-quality food at Michelin-starred prices."

"All good at this Hotel. Outstanding staffs in the reception and breakfast area. The rooms were comfortable with both coffee machine and kettle provided. Considerate enough to provide us with umbrella when the rail played spoil sport.The breakfast had a good spread, with a very welcoming Mexian and Asian cuisine. With lake Limmat on the side and other major streets within walkable distance, the location is unbeatable.Overall good stay, will definitely be back."
