"A wonderful, intimate hotel. This hotel feels cozy without feeling outdated. All the amenities were great. The shower had very hot water (a rare thing in Peru). A short 15 walk from the Plaza de Armas. The staff and owner of the hotel were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. The garden was so peaceful and calming. I stayed with my family of four and we wished we could stay longer to fully see all of Arequipa. You will not regret staying here. Loved it. 10/10"

"We spent three nights at Katari hotel in Arequipa (May 2026). You can't beat the location, right on the central plaza! They serve a very nice breakfast (made to order) on the open-air terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas. It was so peaceful and lovely. We also had drinks at sunset from the same terrace. Loved it! "A more beautifully decorated mansion, I have not seen with super comfortable beds. Very safe with locked front door and 24hour front desk. Great location for walking to sites, convenience store and fruit/vegetable market around the corner. Highly recommend a stay here & wish we could have stayed longer as we were not able to have the breakfast.
