It was in a wonderful Area- close to the beach, food places, the airport and it felt safe. The cottage had a lot of windows, but other than that the host was very responsive

The property itself was clean. However, the room can use some much needed upgrade in furniture and structure. The bed was very uncomfortable and worn. The property was safe and very quiet. While the property has internet access, there was no instructions as to how to access services, This was very critical for me because I only rented to take an virtual exam and needed internet access. I reached out to the owner who never responded.

The directions to the property was not clear, it took us a while to find in the night. It rained excessively which caused the electricity to turn off each time (pretty much the whole weekend). The place was leaky and we found roaches and spiders crawling inside.

Worst Experience ever

Communication with these guys are horrible, never stayed at the location due to office being close before checking in time and tried calling the number on Hotels.com and that number was not in service. Had hotels.com track the owner down and still no resolution. My recommendation, stay far away

When we arrived there was no grill, (as advertised), no fridge to speak of (although we were told there was a fridge), furniture was hanging on outside furniture belonging to another user, (which was unappealing), and the place was cramped with an unappealing bed space. But we got an upgrade and it was more spacious and very nice, except the bed had a foam on top of an otherwise suspect mattress. Otherwise the outside setting was nice, views of the water were nice at Orange Cottage. Garden Cottage was pushed back with no view at all.

When I arrived at check-in Garden Cottage was not ready.The kind host offered the Lemon Cottage in lieu of the garden Cottage because of the inconvenience.The lemon cottage was peaceful, quiet, clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. Down-sides: -The wifi is illusive and did not work in the unit at all. You have to roam around the garden to find stable connection. -The television in the unit is not connected to wifi nor is it programmed. -The pool is dirty and not suitable for swimming. - Although Expedia warns you not to share your credit card information, the host demanded access to a credit or debit card to charge an additional fee as a security. I asked if I could pay the sum in cash and they replied that they needed a card. Ultimately they agreed to hold just $1 dollar in good faith that it was not money they were after. After check out an additional sum of $100 was charged again to my card with no prior authorisation or communication. When I reached out they said they could not find the TV remote. My advice is to follow Expedia's guidelines and DO NOT offer your credit card for any additional sums. Up-side: Location, location, location- the unit sits atop Orange Hill one of the most exclusive and luxurious zip codes in all of New Providence. Take a walk across the street and you are on the beautiful Orange Hill Beach. This property is in the heart of it all! Correcting some of the downsides this property is worth the money and worth the stay. 3/5.

The cottage was perfect, and so was the beach. Very private. But it lacked communication with yhe host. I felt a little like i was on a deserted island at times...Which i welcomed in a way. But when i needed help with covid tests or other questions, the host was unwilling to call me and e pected me to use an app...because of long distan c e charges. Please. They are being paid more than enough. Very friendly. But the arrangement for communication should be gone over at check in, so you arent left without assistance.

So my husband and I booked Garden Cottage for a short 3 night stay in the Bahamas. While the location of the property was not bad... We had a couple issues with this booking. For one, we were charged TWO times for our stay. We paid through Expedia prior to our arrival and then saw that the property charged us again the day before our checkout. While we finally sorted everything out, we did lose 2 hours of our last full day there on the island which was extremely annoying. We were also told that we would have working wifi but that wasn't the case. We barely had ANY wifi whatsoever. There were also small ants everywhere in the cottage and the bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on and definitely made for a hobbit. The property was fine for a 3 night stay but will we be booking there again next time? Absolutely not.
