"Pool was great. Nice quiet area beside the roosters in the morning which was funny. so close to everything. For the price you cant beat it. The bed was comfy. the shower was amazing. not much you can complain about here. Always coffee ready and available that was good."

"Excellent stay! Staff was very friendly, this place is clean, every room has air conditioning, it has a pool and restaurant that we ate breakfast at every day and it was delicious! The hotel also has golf carts available for rent to tour the city which we did rent and we had a blast getting around town with. I recommended to the staff better WiFi since you only get WiFi sitting near the pool also just an fyi there water is heated by solar panels, if you don’t mind cooler water for showers you’re good, we didn’t mind it too much since it was hot and humid in May. We will definitely stay there again."

"Everything about my stay at La Puesta was wonderful. I was traveling solo for the week and La puesta was the perfect place for a solo female traveler. The pool is gorgeous. My room (Sunset Suite) was large, clean, the giant bathtub was a huge plus and the views from the balcony were stunning. Food at the restaurant use incredible, but the best part of the stay was definitely the service and staff at the pool/restaurant/bar. Khalil and Andres are incredibly kind, attentive and welcoming, as was everyone else I encountered. The people at La Puesta truly made a huge difference in my trip, on top of the hotel being great on its own. The hotel is on the north end of the beach, which is a little quieter but still just a 10 minute walk to the busier parts of town. The walk is incredibly safe. I walked back alone a few times after midnight and felt perfectly safe. The street is well-lit and everyone in town is very kind and looks out for everyone. Check in and check out were simple and quick. No issues with extra charges or hidden fees. Definitely recommend! "

"Everything was great! The ONLY little thing is after we checked out we sat at the pool and that was a nono, and got told to leave which was unfortunate as check out never aligns with pickup."

"Stayed in April 2026 with 2 girlfriends and absolutely loved the hotel and the location. The hotel was spotless and our room with 2 queens was plenty big for the 3 of us. Having coffee in the hallway on each floor was a nice touch. We spent many hours relaxing in and around the pool. Our only complaint, if anything, is that the beds and pillows were really firm. Would highly recommend Ximena and would definitely return!"

"Very short walk into the busy town. Was much quieter here. We often had the pool to our selves. The bus was close so we visited many other towns. Easy to walk to beach. VERY Wonderful hospitality. If there is something you need just ask. Spotless and well maintained. Away from the lively town but easy to walk to. Very comfortable firm beds. Room spacious. Everyone was so friendly and a great work team spirit. Would stay again."

"This was a fantastic place to stay. Matty, the face of the hotel, went BEYOND for us in making sure our stay was wonderful. She was so friendly and professional and let us know things around Sayulita. The stay itself was really great! Free daily breakfast, yoga, and just a short 10-15 min walk to downtown and the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and Don Bonito is the place to be when staying in this great town. Thank you all so much!"
