"The rooms were really clean, and the staff was amazing. They were helpful and attentive to anything that I needed. The food, oh my, the food - so, so good. Over the course of a week, I had the fish & chips, the burger, a chicken Caesar salad, and multiple variations of the eggs Benedict. The location is great, providing lots of opportunities to explore and walk around. Thanks, Hartford Hall!"

"When we arrived, with luggage in tow, there was a sign to say push the “Ring” button at the back door to alert reception we were wanting to book in. No answer so I had to go in through the bar. The barman told the chap from reception that we had arrived. Upon checking in I asked if I could have 2 entry key cards, twice! Only received one. He seemed reluctant. "Very friendly staff and very helpful. The rooms were lovely and clean, well-maintained and plenty of tea/coffee in the rooms! The food in the bar/restaurant was very good with plenty of choice. Breakfast was fine - could have done with more choice of pastries, vut the bacon roll was delicious!!"

"Great location. Stayed in room 1, bed was extremely comfortable, great powerful shower. Room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff were helpful and friendly. Well stocked bar. Would highly recommend."
