This is one of the few luxury hotels in the resort area for Wuyi Mountain and it did not disappoint. The grounds are vast and beautiful and all the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with beautiful views of the resort. We had an amazing holiday dinner at the restaurant and the daily breakfast was fantastic. It had a wide selection of food to suit western and Asian tastes. All the staff were amazing and went out of their way to understand our questions and help us with their limited English. If you are travelling to this area, you'll have to be prepared for the language barrier in all places but it was not an issue. The resort is about a 5 minute taxi ride to the Wuyishan National Park and cost about $3-$5, so don't worry about the resort being a bit off the main strip where all the other hotels are.
