To pay for the check in or to get their breakfast, it was a 15 min walk in the pouring rain, or under the hot humid air, to get to their counter in another hotel. You can see their other main building (which had the check in service) while standing on the hill, but walking in between the buildings in the rain, we all got lost in the alleys, because their main building wasn't visible on the streets. "The room was about what I expected for the price, it was clean and comfortable and a good place to spend the day. The shared bathroom was an issue, as the trash can had not been emptied or changed in quite some time. In Taiwan, you don't flush toilet paper, meaning that it was overflowing with used toilet paper. Also, the lock on the bathroom needs to be fixed. Other than that... Pretty good for the money, and I especially like the fact that the staff helped me when I misplaced my key."
"The place is super cute and the owners are very kind and helpful. We had a nice ocean view room they we really enjoyed! The only negative is that there is no wifi in our room, even though the listing said there is wifi. They had it on the first floor but it doesn't reach our room. That was quite inconvenient and could likely be an easy fix by an additional router. The location is a bit far from the ferries, but if you have a scooter it should be ok.
