"We regularly travel with a large sports team and this was our all-time favourite tournament hotel. We loved the gazebo outside for team meals and found the staff very accommodating. This is a well-designed hotel, and the proximity to picturesque Ladysmith was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend to teams traveling for tournaments in Nanaimo."

"Subject: Disappointing Stay – Room Quality and Pricing Issues
I recently stayed at your property, and unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations —especially given the price tag of $360 after taxes.
Upon entering the room, I was immediately hit by an overpowering scent from a air freshener plugin that was strong enough to burn my eyes and nose. While it seems the room underwent a recent renovation, the execution was incredibly poor and lacked basic attention to detail:
