Excellent breakfast buffet. WiFi is not always reliable and the signal drops from time to time. Rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. Laundry service is exceptionally quick.

Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable rooms!

The Grand Plaza has beautiful, spacious rooms and the friendliest staff! They helped with travel arrangements, and were very patient and kind. Beds are quite comfortable. The Green Bar has excellent, affordable food and the restaurant upstairs has an extensive selection of dinner options, including vegetarian meals. The buffet breakfast is also excellent- with a great view of the city and of the mountain in the distance. I highly recommend the Grand Plaza!

The over all property was very attractive. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and attractive. The food was above average. The only drawback was that the bathroom sink was clogged, so very slow-draining. They would almost certainly have fixed it if we had asked, but we were in the room so little that we did not report it until departure.

Beautiful rooms with wonderful staff!

Our stay at the Grand Plaza Hotel was amazing! We originally booked a business suite for one might, but decided to extend a second night with a standard double room. As soon as we checked in, the manager came and offered us an upgrade for both nights, and it was the best surprise, especially after traveling via chapa and bus for several days. The rooms were beautiful (they actually look like the website photos!), and the cleaning service did an amazing job of providing espresso, coffee, mineral water, and tea daily. We also stopped by the pool for a quick cool-off a couple times. We had a great time here, and thought the staff was so friendly and always wanting to help from the room upgrade to help with WiFi.
