This small hotel was located in an area that had close access to a museum. Was in walking distance to museum and shopping mall. It was located in a safe walking neighborhood. They helped us find tours and the whole places purpose was to help the people in the near by slum to get an education and improve their lives.I would highly recommend this business as they people were friendly and helpful
Acacia Tree Lodge is my absolute go-to hotel for my annual trips to Kenya. It offers a wonderful, friendly boutique atmosphere with unbeatable value—both for the room rates and the incredibly fair prices on food, drinks, and laundry.
Even better, staying here supports a great cause. The lodge is run by the non-profit New Hope Foundation, whose work is close to my heart after one of their hospitals in Tanzania saved a close friend's life years ago. Highly recommended!
This turned out to be the best experience of our trip. Gorgeous property in a safe and walkable area to many restaurants and shops. The staff are so kind, helpful, and go over and above to ensure guests are happy. There’s a wonderful restaurant on the property. Great food and great variety. Excellent coffee. This property supports the Kibera community by donating profits to the community. There’s a shop on the property where you can buy beautiful crafts, jewelry made in the community. Everyone here is always smiling and so kind. The rooms are clean, beautiful and have anything you can need along with special great smelling soaps and hair products. We look forward to returning to Nairobi and staying at Acacia tree lodge again. Thank you Stephen for sharing your beautiful life and community with us. You are forever in our hearts.
Great location, it’s close to everything you want to see and visit in Karen, restaurants, etc. Excellent cleaning staff. Just one thing really irked me, mosque
Spotlessly clean. Great showers, comfortable beds. Very friendly, kind and accommodating staff. It’s a great place to start or end your trip to Kenya as it’s in a quiet, peaceful part of Nairobi, with a beautiful secluded garden full of birds. The on site cafe provides a good selection of food and drink. There is a little shop on site selling items made by women at a project to support their lives. We loved it here.
This small hotel is in a fabulous location- close to the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum and the National Park. Karen is a lovely green area. The hotel has lovely open areas to sit. The cafe serves good meals at reasonable prices. The hotel arranged for the driver, Steven, to pick me up from the airport. He also took me to the national park and museums etc. I can highly recommend him too.
Acacia Tree Lodge is a place with a very welcoming atmosphere. The service is excellent. Food is always served quickly and is great. Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable. When in Nairobi again, I hope to be back.
