The property grounds were nothing to look at. Very non- welcoming, unkept. Lobby smelled musty. Staff were nice. Our room had been renovated, but there are very few available outlets to plug in your electronics. The location was convenient. Hopefully the owners will put a lot more money into renovating this place.

This was a last minute booking when our room was canceled at another hotel unexpectedly. The whole town was almost completely booked and we stayed here. First no elevator so we dragged our luggage upstairs, first thing I noticed was the smell!! It was that really bad old hotel smell when we walked through the door. My socks were black that I wore in the room. Outlets were falling out of the wall. The light for the bathroom was the old heat lamp you had to turn it on with the dial timer. I can say the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. But overall would recommend staying someplace else.

The property was obviously being renovated and had a strong smell of paint in the lobby and common area. Can't hold that against them. Room was great and staff was friendly and very helpful, even offering me a toothbrush when I asked if they had any for sale.

The lobby smelled like mildew so we were a bit concerned, but our room was clean and comfortable. The retractable clothesline in the shower was a nice feature for wet bathing suits being near the beach. The indoor pool was closed and it was unclear if they plan to bring it back in the future.

Arriving after 9h driving we had to wait to unpack in case the tv was broken, for someone to come and check what was wrong with it. She should have move us to an other room instead saying "he's coming in a minute while it took 1h!The fridge froze everything we had..and a day before checking out, our card didn't work because the system checked us out 1 day early. Otherwise the location is great to walk to the olde village even downtown.

Main lobby freaked of mildew. Pool was closed. Rooms were clean. Walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors and road noise. We were only there overnight. Would not recommend for any longer of a stay.

Clean room, nice staff, convenient location. But the place is under construction and there are no amenities for guests at all. It looks like an abandoned building when you pull up. But it served its purpose for me and the staff were nice. Just looks like the owners are trying to get some income during renovations. Should be disclosed more clearly when you go to make a reservation.

There is an empty, former restaurant attached to the hotel which makes it look like it might be sketchy but the lobby and rooms very clean, comfortable and well decorated. The staff was very friendly too. Don’t judge a book by its cover. It was a very nice stay for a great price and close to the aquarium.

This hotel has changed hands several times in the last fifty years and little has changed. It is clean and fine for an inexpensive overnight stay but feels a bit worn and outdated. The staff was pleasant and the check-in/out process straightforward.
