There is an empty, former restaurant attached to the hotel which makes it look like it might be sketchy but the lobby and rooms very clean, comfortable and well decorated. The staff was very friendly too. Don’t judge a book by its cover. It was a very nice stay for a great price and close to the aquarium.

This hotel has changed hands several times in the last fifty years and little has changed. It is clean and fine for an inexpensive overnight stay but feels a bit worn and outdated. The staff was pleasant and the check-in/out process straightforward.

This hotel is in need of major infrastructure updates. It is quiet, almost to an abandoned feel. Attempts at a face lift is evident. It is adjacent to an empty restaurant and other building.

Quiet staff was helpful however there was a lot of patch work and we had clumpd of hair in the shower and shower drain. Overall the room was comfortable but needed to really be cleaned and fixed up.

The place is rundown. Looks abandoned from the road side. No lock on the outside door so anyone could walk in. It smells musty. At least the ac worked and the bed was comfortable enough.

The description and photos online didn't align with the current conditions of the property. The grounds are poorly lit at night, the pool wasn't available, our room didn’t have a working phone or TV, a wall faceplate wasn't secured to the wall and our window didn’t have a locking mechanism. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was quite and centrally located to the attractions nearby.

CT Wine Trail stay

At first glance, the property looks abandoned. We drove right past it. There was a restaurant attached, but is now closed, hence the empty look. However, upon check in, staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfy. The hotel is right off the main road and in walking distance to restaurants, and Olde Mystick Village. Good value for the $$.

This property has seen better days and was somewhat alarming to pull up to but the rooms have clearly been recently updated and were clean. Staff were welcoming and the lobby had been decorated for the holiday. I'd stay there again.
