Feels like staying at your grandma's house decor-wise - in a good way! Clean cabin, comfortable bed, redwoods right outside your door. Three restaurants for food options plus a grocery store right across the street, very convenient!

Miranda Gardens was so quaint, surrounded by redwoods, and very convenient for exploring Avenue of the Giants. Two restaurants and a coffee shop directly across the street make it a very convenient place to stay. Loved it!

The cabins are set in a grove of huge redwoods on a scenic route with a restaurant, gas station and drive through coffee kiosk. It. is the only accommodation for a very large area.

Older court style separated rooms but very well maintained. Gas, grocery and dining just across the street. The landscaping was very pretty and we used the gazebo just outside the room to relax with a glass of wine after a busy travel day.

This property has a charming sign outside and the cottages look adorable under the giant redwoods. I’m sure they were really nice accommodations 100 years ago, but quite frankly that room was one of the worst I’ve stayed in for a long time, and at the same rate as really really nice rooms at nearby properties in Scotia and Benbow that I also stayed in this week. Low quality bed linens & towels. The carpet seems filthy. I couldn’t bring myself to use the coffee maker. The door has glass window panes, which just made it feel really unsafe as it is directly accessible by the very busy highway, and I saw every truck and cars headlights passing all night long. That being said the lady who checked me in was super nice and it’s a great location… (A.k.a. the only option in Miranda, which is a cute little town on the Avenue.) But they either need to invest a lot more in their property to bring it up to that level of lodging cost or lower their rates.

You can't beat the environment. It's in the middle of the redwoods. Each cabin-like room has big trees close by. The room is cute, like an antique; if this is your type of thing you probably would like it. However, it's quite old. The bathroom tube makes screeching noise (thankfully just for a minute or two) when first using faucet; the heater has a loud noise (dropping of water?) in the middle of night which woke us up. So we decided to turn the heater off -- it wasn't very cold that night, but it might be a problem in lower temperature.

We had a very pleasant stay at one of the cabins in the Resort. The cabin was clean and comfy with lovely decor; the kitchen is cute and functional. The surrounding area is quiet and has gorgeous views. It has a great location, with lots of hikes nearby. We will definitely come back again in the Summer!

Miranda Garden was very nice. It was quiet amongst the redwoods and nice grounds. The room had character too instead of a cookie cutter sameness of some hotels.
