"Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf. "

"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

"Beautiful hotel. The staff is the best part. The barefoot concept is great. If you are looking for a relaxing and quiet getaway this is the one. The ocean is not very accessible as it is mainly coral so keep that in mind when booking- you will most likely be 99% in the pool not the ocean."

"Three staff is very accommodating, and kind. There's a nice feeling they all know you and are trying to really help. We were there 4 days and it felt like we are a little community. The rooms are comfortable, clean, hot water and good internet connection. The breakfasts are very nice. I recommend to organize all your tours through the hotel, it's easy and very reasonable prices, and you know it's all taken care of. So a lot less stressful. "Fun resort with many different daily activities for families. Set on the fantastic east coast of Zanzibar, Diamonds Mapenzi gives you access to a beautiful beach with warm water and sports (additional charge). Food tasted good and staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Would stay here again "

"Alojamiento ideal en primera linea de playa. El bungalow con vistas al mar es increíble, super bien decorado y con una terraza espectacular. Desayuno muy variado y completísimo. "The rooms were impeccable, beautiful. The grounds were immaculately maintained. The staff and overall customer service was top notch, among the best we've ever encountered. The food was outstanding....much better than cruise ship food. We couldn't have been more impressed."
