  • I'm not a "Gear-Head" by any means but... I do love German engineering and am specially fond of BMW, who now owns MINI Cooper. This is the 1955 BMW Isetta (1955–62), also known as the "Bubble-Car". 161,728 units were made. Although Italian designed it was licensed for manufacture in several different countries. If your looking to get a decent Isetta today expect to pay a bit north of $40,000. I like it... It's just silly enough for me and I need to know how many clowns we can fit into one. As far as the museum goes... a MUST do when visiting Munich, even if your not a gear-head.

I booked the hotel on Black Friday deal but when we arrived I realized that is then 20 euro cheaper per night than what I booked on Expedia. Which was disappointing, I am not sure if this was a fault by Expedia predictions or the hotel information. The lobby was great for working. The room was very very minimal, from size to equipment. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

It was way too expensive for a bedroom this size. Anyway, the building has two parts. I suppose if you book via online travel agency, you’ll get a worse room in the smaller part like ours - with a view to the construction site. It would probably be better to book directly. The room and the bathroom were pretty clean overall, but there were some nasty spots with unclear origin on our furniture. The staff was friendly and the roof top bar is nice though. Still not worth the high price in my honest opinion.

Das Personal war freundlich. Die Rezeption war bei der Anreise zum Check-in lange unbesetzt. Der Reinigungsservice im Hotel wurde an einem Tag nicht durchgeführt. Er wurde offenbar vergessen. Die Roof Top Bar ist sehr empfehlenswert. Die Aussicht ist sehr schön. Trotz der kleinen Kritikpunkte würden wir dieses Hotel gerne wieder besuchen.

Gutes solides Hotel mit gewohnten Motel One Standart. Leider wurde es im Zimmer, in der Nacht sehr warm, obwohl der Thermostat runter gestellt war. Frühstück war auch in Ordnung, so wie man es von Motel One gewohnt ist.
