"From the moment you enter the Kings Arms you are made welcome by the excellent staff, who are genuinely interested in making your stay as good as possible. Our room for two adults and two children (4 & 8) was perfect, with the sofa-bed made up for the kids. The room was extremely comfortable with an excellent bed, air-con that worked well, a spacious bathroom with tub and shower, a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. The breakfasts were amazing and again the serving staff were extremely helpful and friendly. What a wonderful place to stay!"

"Loved: facilities, staff, food fantastic. Spa wonderful but some minor repairs required. Nothing to detract from our stay. Enjoyed tasting menu with wine flight and also James Martin’s restaurant. All in all a great stay, would definitely like to return"

"It was adequate for our short stay. Bed was comfy and the breakfast good. Food in restaurant overpriced, for what was on offer and recieved. Some maintenance of the room we stayed in needed. Good location to get to the places of interest."

"The staff were amazing, the two ladies on the evening bar shift were really attentive and showed me to the room. Period property showing character and age but shaded and cool in this hot weather. Lovely refitted shower room and good blackout curtains for a peaceful nights rest."
