Gem of a Hotel

Delightful hotel ,beautiful decor in bar , excellent parking Great welcome from host and bar staff. Easy to park and in a good position in Christchurch . Definitely return when we have more time .

Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at the Kings Arms. Fantastic location, right in town centre. Free parking, a big bonus. Friendly staff, welcome drink, fantastic room, air conditioned, comfy bed, lovely bathroom. Will definitely return. Thoroughly recommend.

This is an older hotel, very close to the High Street and a short walk to The Priory and waterfront. The room was very nice, large bathroom. The bed wasn’t terribly comfortable but we were only there for two nights. I loved the tea set up in our room that included a variety of organic teas, fresh milk, kettle and cookies. So nice to have in the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat in the hotel as there are many restaurants on the High Street but it looked very elegant and nice. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would stay there again in the future.

FANTASTIC HOTEL. The location, the service, the bar and restaurant were all truly 5 star. Woke up this morning after truly good sleep in massive room overlooking the priory and ruins. The reception staff was simply wonderful, just little things like letting us have a coffee and a croissant when we came in to drop suitcases off before check in time. Little drink tokens on the house, to be enjoyed in a truly gorgeous bar & restaurant. We loved everything and will be back 😊

I had an amazing trip & this hotel was part of it. I found the staff to be exceptional & very helpful. I loved having the restaurant right in the hotel. My room overlooked the ruins & the Priory & had air conditioning & a walk in shower which were priorities for me. It was a quick walk to the high street for shopping, bank, other food options & a quick walk to the ferries on the river. I would absolutely stay here again.

Cozy/snug room on the 3rd floor. Lift was just outside the door.
Good closet space with iron/board, mini fridge, & tea kettle.

Newly refurbished in great style, the hotel was a delight in all respects. From a really friendly welcome to a lovely big bedroom (with a great view of the old castle ruins and beautiful Priory church) and an excellent evening meal we were really happy with our choice.
